Moscow, November 21 (KCNA) -- A large-scale anti-terrorism drill "Kazan-anti-terrorism-2011" was held in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia from Nov. 7 to 20.

Involved in it were about 4 000 personnel from the Republic of Tatarstan, Ulyanovsk Region, the Republic of Chuvashiya and nine other republics and regions and a special unit of the Federal Security Service.

The drill warned of the danger of terrorism and reviewed readiness of regional institutions of the Security Service for combating terrorism.

It was aimed at ensuring secure World Universiad slated in Kazan in 2013.
