Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities' policy of confrontation with fellow countrymen is a treacherous one detrimental to the trend of the era toward national independence. It is a theory of division obstructing national unity and reunification and a theory of anti-DPRK war escalating the tension and wrecking peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says this in a bylined article, adding:

The south Korean authorities have persistently denied the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and intensified the confrontation with fellow countrymen in cooperation with foreign forces, asserting that the united efforts of the nation can not help solve the issue of inter-Korean relations.

Their confrontation policy is a main factor that prevents the north and the south from getting reconciled and unity for reunification.

The final aim of the south Korean conservative group's "policy toward the north" is to do harm to the DPRK and realize treacherous "unification of systems". The group only seeks to invade the DPRK in collusion with foreign forces, not to get reconciliation and unity between the north and the south.

The south Korean authorities have got hell-bent on the "unification of systems" campaign, talking about "provision of funds for unification" and "three-phase unification plan". Such moves have fanned up mistrust and confrontation between the north and the south, increasing the danger of outbreak of war on the Korean Peninsula to the extremes.

An immediate end should be put to their anachronistic policy of confrontation whose unjustness and treacherous nature have been fully revealed.
