Economic Development in DPRK: Bulletin of Bangladesh Institute

Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea issued a bulletin "Features of DPRK's economic development" on Nov. 16.

The economic development of the DPRK which set the goal to build a thriving nation is drawing attention of the world, the bulletin said, and went on:

The Korean people are developing the nation's economy into knowledge-based intensive-style one by dint of latest science and technology.

The scientists and technicians of the DPRK have independently developed the CNC technology which is monopolized by only a few countries.

The economy of the DPRK is orientating toward low-carbon and green economy.

The Huichon Ryonha General Machinery Plant is a factory of green architecture style rare to be seen in the world.

The DPRK encourages and develops the organic farming method while exerting big efforts to establishing the rotation production system of agriculture and stock breeding, pomiculture and stock breeding.

It is further strengthening the foundation of the independent national economy in firm reliance on its own fuel and raw materials.

The persistent anti-DPRK sanctions and blockade by the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces become impotent.
