Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- The Huichon Ryonha General Machine Plant and the Ryonha Machinery Bureau are taking the lead in the drive of breaking through the cutting edge in the DPRK.

They have renewed the production processes based on CNC (computer numerical control) technology to turn out 3, 4 and 5-axis machine tools and considerably increase the competitiveness of their machine tools in world markets.

They have developed 6-axis grinding machine to do what several machines did in the past.

They have also finished a design of 11-axis machining centre, a mother machine begetting machine tools, and are now assembling it.

They owe their achievements in the drive of pushing back frontiers of latest science and technology to Kim Jong Il's energetic leadership for the country's scientific and technological development and modernization of machine-building industry.
