Kim Il Sung Praised by Bangladeshi Paper

Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- The Bangladeshi paper Blits on Nov. 14 carried special write-up on the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.

An article titled "Walking along Field Lanes All His Life" carried photos of the President giving field guidance to the different domains of the national economy.

The President, always finding himself among the people, walked along the field lanes all his life, regarding farming as the mainstay of the country, the article said, and went on:

Thoughtful of the centuries-old desire of the farmers who made up the overwhelming majority of the population right after the country's liberation, he enforced the agrarian reform before anything and put forward farmers as the masters of the land and the country.

He went among the farmers, taught them and worked heart and soul to bring them better future.

The Korean people remember the President who visited the Kumdang Cooperative Farm in Onchon County and a farm on the suburbs of Pyongyang in hot days in June 1994, the last period of his great life.

His noble ideal and desire to turn the countryside of the whole country into a modern socialist one are now coming true under the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Il.
