Korea's Taekwon-Do Introduced by Regional Organ

Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions posted an article titled "Korea's Taekwon-Do" on its Internet website on Sunday.

It also posted photos of DPRK Taekwon-Do players at matches.

The article said:

The audience gave wild applause to DPRK players' somersault, especially women players after watching their movements defending themselves from tough men players.

American TVs aired the demonstration performance of DPRK Taekwon-Do players at the special news time, saying their performances are peculiar for high technique and theme.

Korea's Taekwon-Do has a long history and tradition.

Men of Koguryo playing Supakhoi--hand punch, origin of the Taekwon-Do--are painted at Koguryo tomb murals.

Taekwon-Do has developed on a scientific basis to be a peculiar and powerful martial art.

Taekwon-Do reflecting the spirit of the Korean nation includes pattern, sparring, self-defense art and many other movements for offense and defense.

Today the DPRK has a well-planned Taekwon-Do education system.

Taekwon-Do is good to health and it is helpful to possession of justice, fortitude and decidedness.
