Book "Among the People" Vol. 98 Published in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out the collection of reminiscences "Among the People" (Vol. 98).

Contained in the book are 23 reminiscences dealing with the immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung performed with his extraordinary ideological and theoretical wisdom, outstanding leadership ability and noble personality. Impressive stories that he received deep respect and reverence from the world progressives are also contained.

They deal with the immortal leadership exploits of the President who brightly indicated the way for effecting a fresh turn in the production of electric power and magnesia clinker and brining about leaping progress of the country's economy.

They also tell about the pains-taking efforts made by the President who personally did farming on an experimental plot and worked hard to open a bright prospect for the development of agriculture, stock-breeding and fruit farming.

Also contained are stories saying the President made sure new generation positively learned from the anti-Japanese revolutionary comrades-in-arms, always remembering them and that he was anxious about national reunification.

There is also a reminiscence saying that he personally drew a nationality mark design for airplane and set its position.

Other reminiscences praise the exploits by the President who initiated the reconstruction project of King Tongmyong's Mausoleum to build it as befitting one of the founder-king of Koguryo and provided a flower garden of the Juche-oriented arts of dance.

Also contained in the book are reminiscences saying he did not spare anything for the education of the rising generations and that he fascinated many foreigners who visited the DPRK despite disparate political views and systems.
