China Rejects West's Accusation over Trade with Africa

Beijing, November 16 (KCNA) -- China rejected the West's accusation that China has been plundering African nations of their resources.

Speaking at a recent news conference, Liu Guijin, the Chinese government's special representative for African affairs, who attended the 2nd round-table meeting for China-Africa cooperation, said China has mainly imported minerals and energy resources from African nations because the trade structure between China and those nations has long remained irrational.

Such structure also exists between Africa and the United States, Japan, Britain and France, he noted, adding, “Therefore, their accusation is contrary to facts and unfair as well.”
