Moscow, November 16 (KCNA) -- The chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma of Russia in a recent interview with a news agency exposed the sinister intention of the U.S. and West against Iran.

The U.S. and West are accusing Iran of developing nuclear weapons, he said, noting that this is part of the strategy to change Iran's regime by force or create disorder there.

Iran's nuclear issue can be settled through dialogue and negotiations, he said, warning: Military operation against Iran will bring unexpected consequences and give big losses to those countries participating in it.
