Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- The high-ranking military delegation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army enjoyed a performance given by Pyongyang artistes on Wednesday. The delegation is led by Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China and director of the General Political Department of the CPLA.

Among the audience were Kim Yong Chun, vice-chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and minister of the People's Armed Forces, Gen. Pak Jae Gyong, and other generals and officers of the KPA, Chinese Ambassador Liu Hongcai, Military, Naval and Air Attache Sun Yanfeng and staff members of the Chinese embassy here and Chinese guests staying in the DPRK.

Put on the stage were chorus "March of Korean Youth", mixed duet and chorus "Here Is the Country Where I Live", female sixtet and chorus "Let Us Keep Pace with Army Song", national dance "Fan Dance" and tap dance "At the Well".

The performers impressively showed the revolutionary spirit and staunch fighting trait of the army and people of the DPRK dynamically advancing toward the bright future with the confidence under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Also put on the stage were the theme song of TV series "Mao Anying" and other Chinese songs.

A floral basket was conveyed to the performers in congratulations of their successful performance.
