Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- Nepali Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai on Nov. 12 called for promoting regional cooperation.

He said that the 17th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit has been productive in terms of promoting regional cooperation.

He stressed the need to effectively implement the South Asian Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA).

He expressed his hope that SAFTA would be useful in promoting investment and trade.
