Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- The south Korean newspaper Hangyore carried an editorial on Nov. 11 hitting out at the police for trying to arrest Kim Jin Suk who staged a sit-in demanding the settlement of the Hanjin Heavy Industry Co. crisis.

Kim, as a member of the guidance body of the Pusan Headquarters of the Confederation of Trade Unions, staged 300-odd days of sit-in on a crane against the company's unwarranted dismissal.

The Kyunghyang Daily News also editorially said Kim's sit-in on a crane against the lay-off gave encouragement to the people.

It is unreasonable to take charge against the action as it was prompted by the company's lay-off measure, the editorial said.

It urged the police to immediately stop the move to arrest Kim.
