Beijing, November 13 (KCNA) -- China's Foreign Ministry spokesman on Friday expressed his country's position of supporting Russia's joining the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Speaking at a press conference, Hong Lei said China considers that Russia's entry into WTO is helpful to strengthening the general and specific characteristics of the organization and increasing the influence of the multilateral trade system.

China hopes that Russia will become a WTO member nation as early as possible, he added.
