S. Korean Prosecution's Suppression under Fire

Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification made public a statement on Nov. 10 in denunciation of the puppet prosecution's suppression of the organization.

The statement referred to the fact that the Seoul District Prosecutor's Office on Nov. 9 suggested prison terms for Chairman Ri Kyu Jae, the former secretary general and publicity chairman of the organization.

The prosecution brought charges against their legitimate exchange with the north during the period of the preceding regimes, said the statement.

It is the chief executive who should stand trial and such oppressive bodies as the prosecutor's offices and Intelligence Service are what should be dismantled, it said.

No dictatorial suppression of the organization can ever stamp out the movement of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, the statement noted, demanding the prosecution immediately retract the repressive steps.
