Moscow, November 11 (KCNA) -- The Russian president called on war veterans to launch patriotic education among young people.

Speaking at a recently-held meeting with veterans, Dmitri Medvedev said any book and TV programs can not serve for

living witnesses, adding, "I can never forget stories told by veterans."

He stressed it is important for veterans to frequently contact with young people to tell them about the war.
