Moscow, November 11 (KCNA) -- Russian President Dmitri Medvedev in a recent meeting with war veterans clarified his stand to steadily carry on the work to restore monuments to the great Patriotic War.

He said many monuments have already been restored across the country as part of the preparations for commemorating the 65th anniversary of the victory in the war.

Noting that this work will go on and on, he said the government ratified a 2011-2015 special federal plan on restoring the monuments and allotted lots of funds to it.
