Beijing, November 11 (KCNA) -- The secretary of the Central Commission of Politics and Law of China called for improving the service for people who need special attention and assistance.

Speaking at a meeting held on Monday, Zhou Yongkang said the service for ex-convicts, narcotic addicts, lunatics apt to cause accidents and AIDS patients is part of the effort for improving the social management.

He underscored the need to improve the service to suit their characteristics.
