Puppet Prosecution's Repression Flayed in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- A deputy spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party in south Korea Wednesday released a commentary in denunciation of the prosecution's repression of protesters opposed to the conclusion of the "Free Trade Agreement".

The prosecution lately labeled the public voice opposing the FTA a spooky story and threatened to detain and investigate those who peddle it, the commentary said.

The FTA with the United States would jeopardize south Korea's economy and is, therefore, strongly rejected by the people, it added.

It called for immediately canceling the crackdown plan.

It vowed to wage an unflinching struggle against the ruling forces' moves to railroad the FTA.
