Concert Given to Mark Independence Day of Poland

Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- A concert was given by DPRK and Polish players at the Music Hall of Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory Thursday to mark the independence day of Poland.

Among the audience were Vice Minister of Culture of the DPRK Han Chol, Vice-Chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries So Ho Won, officials concerned and teachers and students of art education institutions.

Also enjoying the concert with them were Ambassador Edward Pietrzyk and staff members of the Polish embassy in Pyongyang, diplomatic envoys of different countries and representatives of international organizations here.

Put on the stage were piano trio "Night of Homeplace", violin solo Sarasate "Carmen" and other numbers to be acclaimed for the high artistic presentation.
