Beijing, November 8 (KCNA) -- Li Jianguo, vice－chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress, called for completing the socialist legislation system with Chinese characteristics.

Speaking at the 17th national symposium of local legislatives held in Fujian Province recently, Li underscored the need to sincerely study and thoroughly implement the spirit of the 6th Plenum of the 17th C.C., the Communist Party and fulfill the tasks to complete the socialist legislation system with Chinese characteristics, thus properly carrying on the local legislative work.
