Moscow, November 7 (KCNA) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in a recent press conference accused the U.S. of its unilateral decision.

The decision by the United States to halt funding for UNESCO which granted the Palestinians a full membership in the organization is not helpful to keeping an atmosphere needed for resuming the Palestine-Israel peace talks, he noted.

Palestine's admission into UNESCO is fully legitimate, he said, adding that the U.S. decision should be reexamined.
