Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- A high-ranking official of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) Wednesday accused Israel of posing a threat to it.

He charged that Israel withheld tax revenues to the PNA, ordered the building of 2 000 houses in East Kuds, which the Palestinians want as a future capital, and decided to ban representatives of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) from entering the Palestinian territories, after the UNESCO accepted Palestine as a full member.

The Israeli measures might "undermine" the PNA, he said.

"We hope that we would succeed in reducing or preventing the Israeli threats from affecting the PNA," he added.
