Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Group net profit of Japan's businesses is drastically falling due to the economic crisis.

Hitachi Ltd. said Tuesday its group net profit for the April-September period dropped 67.8 percent from a year earlier.

Casio Computer Co. said Tuesday its group net profit in the April-September period fell 64.5 percent from a year earlier.

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., the maker of Subaru brand cars, reported Tuesday a group net profit of 32.75 billion yen for the April-September first half, down 26.5 percent from the year before,

Mitsubishi Corp. on Tuesday posted a consolidated net profit of 245.69 billion yen in the April-September period, down 8.3 percent from a year earlier.
