Reception Given in Honor of Huichon Innovators

Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea gave a reception at the People's Palace of Culture Saturday in congratulation of Ryonha Machine officials, labor innovators, scientists and technicians who contributed to the CNC industrialization.

Present there on invitation were officials, labor innovators, scientists and technicians of the Huichon Ryonha General Machinery Plant, the Ryonha Machine Management Bureau and other units.

Present there were Kim Yong Chun, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Kim Jong Gak, Pak To Chun, Choe Ryong Hae, Thae Jong Su, Mun Kyong Dok and other senior officials of the party and the army.

Choe Ryong Hae made a speech at the reception.

He referred to the fact that leader Kim Jong Il provided a grand reception for the labor innovators, scientists and technicians of Ryonha Machine though he was busy with the Songun revolutionary leadership.

The speaker warmly congratulated those innovators from Huichon who delighted Kim Jong Il by registering world-startling achievements as befitting the pioneers of the industrial revolution in the new century, true to the WPK's idea of pushing back the frontiers of latest science and technology.

He went on to say: Kim Jong Il highly appreciated labor innovators, scientists and technicians for their achievements and showed warm benevolence for them. This will be conveyed long as another legend of great love.

The participants in the reception expressed the resolve to contribute to bringing earlier the final victory for the building of a thriving nation by making uninterrupted innovation and advance under the torch lit in South Hamgyong Province as befitting the creators of the Kanggye spirit, while cherishing the deep trust and expectation of Kim Jong Il.

A performance was given at the reception by artistes of the Samjiyon Band of the Mausudae Art Troupe.
