Tehran, November 3 (KCNA) -- The Iranian government recently sent a diplomatic note to the U.S. government in denunciation of the U.S. moves to label Iran a terrorist sponsor.

The U.S. allegation over assassination attempt against Saudi ambassador to the U.S. is based on lies, the note said.

It sought unspecified compensation for material and moral damages of this baseless accusation.
