Russia-DPRK Relations Will Further Develop: Russians

Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- Russian organizations and personages made public statements between Oct. 26 and 28 to express belief that the Russia-DPRK friendly and cooperative relations will further develop in all fields.

The Association for the Study of the DPRK of Asia-Africa College under Moscow State University in its statement expressed full support for the fundamental principles clarified in the answers General Secretary Kim Jong Il gave to questions by ITAR-TASS of Russia.

The Russian people, together with the Korean people, will make every possible effort to establish a fair international order in Asia and the rest of the world, it said.

The Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association, Karelia Branch of the Russian Veterans Fund, Karelia Branch of the Movement for Supporting the Army, Karelia Branch of the Navy Veterans' Union and the Karelia Branch of the International Union of Soviet Officers said in their joint statement that in his answers Kim Jong Il made clear on a wide scale the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula, the resumption of the six-party talks and the prospect of normalizing the DPRK's relations with the U.S. and Japan.

 The general director of a company said in a statement that the answers made him know well about Kim Jong Il's will and the desire of the Korean people. I express heartfelt thanks to him for the efforts made for the development of the friendly relations between the two countries, the general director added.
