Italian Party Hails DPRK Stand on Denuclearization

Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- The Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy made public a statement on Oct. 30 as regards the answers General Secretary Kim Jong Il gave to questions put by ITAR-TASS of Russia.

The statement said:

Regarding the DPRK government's stand on the DPRK-Russia relations, peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and the world and the denuclearization of the peninsula, in particular, clarified by supreme leader Kim Jong Il in the answers, as the most fair and aboveboard one, the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy expresses full support for it.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities should stop at once the anti-DPRK war moves aggravating the situation of the Korean Peninsula, resume the six-party talks without precondition and implement the Sept. 19 joint statement on the principle of simultaneous actions, thus responding to the call of the DPRK government for denuclearization of the peninsula as soon as possible.

Convinced that the Korean people will surely build a prosperous and powerful socialist country, rallied closer around Kim Jong Il, we extend firm solidarity to them in their efforts to defend and advance socialism.
