Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Casualties by armed violence increase in different countries and regions of the world, arousing great concern.

An international study has found everyday crime is a far greater source of armed violence than war. Authors of the 2011 Global Burden of Armed Violence report say about 526,000 people die violently every year.
