Kim Il Sung's Memorial Opened to Visitors

Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung's Memorial was opened with due ceremony on Oct. 27 on the 74th anniversary of death of anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr Zhang Weihua. It was rebuilt on an expansion basis at the old home of the martyr.

Present at the ceremony were the chairman of the Fusong County People's Political Consultative Conference, the party secretary of the County People's Congress, the head of the County Party Information Department, an assistant to the director of Tonghua Education School who doubles as director of the Institute of Martyr Zhang Weihua of the Allied Anti-Japanese Army in Northeast China and other officials and masses of Fusong County and Baishan City.

Also present there were DPRK deputy consul general and consul in Shenyang and members of the delegation of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries on a visit to China.

The participants laid a wreath before the monument to the martyr.

Speeches were made by the chairman of the institute, the son of the martyr and the head of the delegation.
