Tehran, October 30 (KCNA) -- Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati in a speech at Tehran University on Oct. 28 called for turning out in the anti-U.S. sacred war.

He said: "Today, the U.S. power has downgraded worldwide; today is the day of encountering the U.S. as much as we can."

He went on to say: Today, we should make the world understand that our people have always been anti-American. The Iranian people will not yield to the U.S., he added.
