Tehran, October 30 (KCNA) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast dismissed the U.S. claims in an interview with a newspaper on Oct. 26.

The U.S. Justice Department said Tuesday that thousands of electronic parts made in a Minnesota company were smuggled through Singapore to Iran and some of them were used in the remote controls of makeshift bombs seized by American forces in Iraq, the spokesman said. He noted that the claims have no basis in fact.
