British Organizations Censures DPRK-Targeted Exercises

Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy issued a joint statement on Oct. 24, denouncing the south Korean puppet army for its military exercises codenamed Hoguk.

The recent exercises in which huge war equipment is to be involved are very dangerous military maneuvers aggravating the situation of the Korean Peninsula as they are targeted against the DPRK, the statement said.

Necessary on the peninsula right now is detente and, to this end, the south Korean puppet forces should immediately halt stoking confrontation with the DPRK, the statement held.

The exercises may spark overall military conflicts and lead to a war as they are premeditated provocations to stifle Korean-style socialism by force of arms and remove the world anti-imperialist revolutionary forces, it stressed.

It noted that the British followers of the Juche idea and Songun idea strongly demand the south Korean puppet forces immediately halt the reckless military rehearsals.

The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association also released a statement on Oct. 25 in denunciation of Hoguk exercises.
