Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- The Chinese delegate to the UN General Assembly addressing its session on October 25 urged the U.S. to immediately stop its sanctions and blockade against Cuba.

The blockade is an apparent violation of the UN charter, he noted, stressing that the U.S. should immediately end this blockade which impedes the development of the Latin American and the Caribbean region.

China would continue to develop the relations of friendship and economic cooperation with Cuba, he added.
