Moscow, October 23 (KCNA) -- Russian President Dmitri Medvedev recently called for intensifying the road management in his congratulatory message to officials of this field on their holiday.

In the message the president said the road networks are of great importance in developing the economy and carrying out social tasks in the present age.

With Russia seeking a fresh technological development, it is necessary to modernize the road management and improve motorways, he added.

The president also underscored the need to pay special attention to training highly skilled experts and introducing other nations' advanced experience in an effective way.
