Soksagol Revolutionary Site

Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- The Soksagol Revolutionary Site is situated in Tongchang County, North Phyongan Province, the DPRK.

President Kim Il Sung stayed there from October 21 to 25, Juche 39 (1950), guiding the effort for winning the Fatherland Liberation War.

Preserved there are an office room, a house of the switchboard service of the Supreme Command and other relics.

Catching visitors' eyes at the revolutionary site is a peasant's house where the President mapped out a plan of a battle in Unsan area that marked a prelude to the third-stage operation of the war.

The site offers a glimpse of the great feats performed by the President, an invincible and iron-willed commander and outstanding strategist, in leading the Korean army and people to win the war.
