Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- The south Korean warmongers have planned to launch large-scale joint ground, air and naval military drill in Paekryong Island in the West Sea of Korea during the Hoguk exercises to be staged from October 27 to November 4, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

This rehearsal is the first of its kind after the formation of the command for defence of islands on the west sea. Involved in it will be reportedly various warships, fighters, helicopters and other war equipment and huge troops of the three services.

The warmongers declared that during the drill they would also stage such military exercises as enforcement of corps operation plan and two-way exercises of motorized infantry divisions with whole of south Korea as a theatre.

They are reported to kick off the joint landing exercises with the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops in Phohang, North Kyongsang Province.
