Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- Senior party and state officials of the DPRK toured the newly built Taedonggang Pig Farm, Taedonggang Terrapin Farm and Taedonggang Net-weaving Factory on Friday.

They included Kim Yong Nam, Choe Yong Rim and officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Cabinet, ministries, national institutions and social organizations.

At the pig farm the visitors were briefed on it before a panoramic map before touring the general control room, pigsties, insemination and delivery sties, pork processing shop and other places.

They were moved to see all the processes run by computer control.

At the terrapin farm they went round internal and external terrapin ponds and other places of the farm while being told that this comprehensive terrapin breeding base was successfully built under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

They also visited the Taedonggang Net-weaving Factory which produces various kinds of nets with updated production processes and delicate and precise latest equipment.
