Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- A document exposing germ warfare committed by the Japanese imperialists in the past was made public to the world.

The document was worked out by a medical officer of the Unit 731 of Japan's Kwantung Army, a unit ill-famed for germ warfare.

According to it, Unit 731 spread fleas infected with pest in Jilin, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces in the period from 1940 to 1942. As a result, about 26,000 people have suffered from the disease.

The Japanese government has so far denied the crimes of germ warfare, but those crimes are being brought to light.
