Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Choe Yong Rim, premier of the DPRK, had a friendly talk with Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of Amur Region of the Russian Federation, and his party at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Wednesday when the latter paid a courtesy call on him.

Present there were Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Sim Kuk Ryong, DPRK consul-general to Nakhodka of Russia, officials concerned and Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Valery Sukhinin.

The governor expressed heartfelt thanks to leader Kim Jong Il for hospitality accorded to them.

The Russian people have friendly feelings toward the Korean people, he said.

We were deeply moved to witness the Huichon Power Station under construction, he said, adding it is an astonishing success that the Korean people built the dam in a short period.

He expressed the will to contribute to developing the cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields.
