Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Vice President of Colombia, Angelino Garzon, requested the U.S. government to put an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade on Cuba for over 50 years.

Colombia is one of the countries that voted every year in the annual United Nations meeting in favor of lifting the blockade and will continue voting for the end of this condition, Garzon said during a visit to the Center for Genetic Engineering and biotechnology (IGBC) in Havana scientific pole.
