Beijing, October 17 (KCNA) -- A national video conference for the 2012 work of publications of the Communist Party was held in Beijing on Friday.

It was stressed at the conference that it is necessary to properly carry on the work of People's Daily and other publications of the party in the way of strengthening the party building and winning public support, deeply aware of their great importance.

The conference underlined the need to steadily increase the influence of the publications and keeping public opinion positive and sound.
