S. Korean Chief Executive's Humiliating U.S. Visit Decried

Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea issued a commentary on Oct. 14 denouncing the south Korean chief executive's humiliating visit to the U.S.

The chief executive on his visit to the U.S. had a joint press conference with the U.S. chief executive that day, the commentary said.

There was no mention of apology for the GIs' sexual harassment against south Korean women except the south Korea-U.S. "Free Trade Agreement" at the conference, said the commentary, adding:

The U.S.-proposed FTA envisages the plunder of south Korea, its colony, as a way-out of the serious economic crisis.

The south Korean chief executive also promised to purchase 14 trillion worth of U.S. weapons, an indication of his intention to be indifferent to the livelihood of the common people.

This is little different from a promise to pay tributes to the U.S. forever.

Such an act hurting the self-respect of the people can never be pardoned.

Every possible means should be employed to fight out the "Grand National Party's" moves for the passage of a motion calling for the ratification of the proposal on FTA through the "National Assembly".
