Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Iranian Permanent Ambassador to United Nations Mohammad Khazaee expressed outrage at the United States anti-Iran propaganda that Iran hired Mexican drug cartel to assassinate Saudi ambassador to Washington.

In identical letters forwarded to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, President of the UN Security Council, Mrs Ogawu, and President of the UN General Assembly, Mr. Nasser, the ambassador expressed outrage at the U.S. unfounded accusation and warmongering policies in the international community.

"Iran has always condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Iran has been a victim of terrorism," he said, adding:

"Iran invites all to be vigilant against the vicious campaigns targeting stability and peace and friendly relations among States in our region".
