Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The Christian Joint Measure Committee for Checking south Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement grouping at least 40 Christian organizations and churches held a prayer meeting at the Hyangrin Church in Myongdong of Seoul on Oct. 13 to protest against the conclusion of FTA with U.S., according to south Korean CBS.

The organization in a statement said that FTA contains clauses unfavorable for the weak of society including workers and farmers and declared opposition to passage of the motion calling for its ratification through the "National Assembly".

Then the participants turned out in the street to stage a demonstration.
