Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Production is going up at the Raknang Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory in Pyongyang. As one of the nation's modern essential plastic goods producers, this factory is making a positive contribution to improving the standard of people's living.

The factory has overfulfilled its annual national economy plan 30 percent for the last decade. The production of plastic goods swelled dozens of times while their varieties increased to more than 50.

Production processes including extruding, printing and gilding are technologically updated.

The factory is equipped with dozens of modern facilities such as extruder, printer, plastic pipe moulder and words engraving equipment.

It mass-produces plastic containers of various sizes, plastic pipes for diverse uses, vinyl sheets for farming, foodstuff packing materials, lunch's box for one time use, cups and other plastic goods.

It produces and supplies sufficient quantities of plastic goods for the nation's foodstuff factories and the construction sites of the Huichon Power Station and the Paektusan Songun Youth Power Station and so on.

Leader Kim Jong Il during his recent field guidance to the factory praised the workers of the factory for hitting its production target every year and working and struggling in the spirit of the soldiers on the frontline.
