Japanese Party Delegation Tours Pyongyang

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- The delegation of the New Socialist Party of Japan led by Eiko Tomiyama, vice-president of the Party Central Executive Committee and director of the Measure Department for Korean Peninsula Issue, visited Mangyongdae, birthplace of President Kim Il Sung.

Being briefed on the revolutionary history of the President and the members of the revolutionary Mangyongdae family at the old home of the President, the guests looked round relics preserved with care.

They had a photo taken to commemorate their visit.

The delegation also visited dwelling houses in Mansudae Street.

The houses are furnished for the convenience of the people, the head of the delegation said, adding she envies the ordinary people living in the houses equipped with all conditions.

The delegation also toured the Tower of the Juche Idea, Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, Pyongyang Metro and the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace.
