Beijing, October 13 (KCNA) -- Xu Caihou, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, called for paying importance to the education of servicepersons' children.

Speaking at a round-table talk on education of servicepersons' children held in Beijing on Tuesday and Wednesday, Xu said the education is related to not only the interests of the servicepersons and their families but also the state and army building.

To develop the education in a scientific way is of long-term significance in stabilizing sentiments of the people and army, he said. The education should be steadily developed.
