Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- Premier of the DPRK Choe Yong Rim Friday sent a congratulatory message to Helle Thorning Schmidt on her appointment as prime minister of Denmark.

The message wished her success in the work for prosperity of the country and welfare of its people.

DPRK Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun sent a similar message to Villy Sondal on the same day on his appointment as foreign minister of Denmark.
