Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The Palestinian National Authority in a memorandum addressed to the Arab League on October 10 condemned the Israel for its maltreatment of Palestinian prisoners.

Many Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are suffering brutal violence and living in a poor condition, the memorandum said.

The Palestinian prisoners are staging hunger strikes for several weeks in protest against Israeli maltreatment, it noted, calling upon the AL to hold an emergency meeting in this regard.
