DPRK's Proposal for Founding DFRK Supported by Nigerian Organization

Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea on October 3 posted on its Internet homepage an article entitled "For the Reunification of the Country" on the 31st anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and the 10th anniversary of the Three Charters for National Reunification Memorial Tower.

Many Koreans in the north and the south and abroad and foreigners visited the tower in the past period, the article said, and went on:

The tower reflects the ardent desire of all Koreans in the north and the south to reunify the country by the concerted efforts of the nation.

The south Korean authorities are opposed to the proposal for founding the DFRK, an important part of the Three Charters for National Reunification.

To force one side's ideology and system upon the other side in the Korean Peninsula where differing ideologies and systems have existed in the north and the south for more than half a century since the division is little short of one side swallowing up the other side.

This is precisely a "unification" formula sought by the south Korean authorities.

The present south Korean ruling forces are the arch criminals who overturned the north-south agreement on achieving reunification by federal formula and pushed the inter-Korean relations to those of confrontation.

In order to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea at an early date, the south Korean authorities should accept the proposal for achieving reunification by federal formula.
